“Our firm enables organizations to securely migrate, protect, and recover critical data wherever it resides in the physical, hybrid, or cloud environment,” Davis says. Built on a unified platform and next generation technology, InfoSystems’ primary bench skills are data storage and backup. The company’s best of breed solutions are designed to ease the management burden and reduce total cost of ownership, while improving recovery time objectives.
InfoSystems’ principal offering is IBM’s SAN Volume Controller, which creates a single virtual storage pool from disparate vendor SAN’s like Hitachi, EMC, NetApp, and even older IBM arrays. This enables users to constrict their complete storage stack into one manageable interface and replicate it to a Disaster Recovery (DR) site or to internal failover subsystems. In one product, the data synching process is simplified.
Backed with the expertise and technology acumen of their accomplished storage team, InfoSystems works to interconnect technologies and empower customers to leverage ongoing market trends. For over 21 years, the company has acquired and nurtured the needed skills to tackle clients’ solutions from startup-configuration, early implementation, post-install-tuning, to ongoing managed services for data protection.

Our innovative solutions simplify data protection
“Our chief network architect is U.S. Navy trained and gives immense attention to detail. With each deployment, each customer receives the benefit of having a second set of eyes, adding a layer of security to each solution,” Davis said. “The benefit of a third party assessment plus the bonus of having some of the most skilled experts in the industry one call away, makes our services hard to beat.”
One example of InfoSystems’ deep-rooted expertise in implementing highly-complex technologies is its work with one of the largest operators of travel centers in North America. The customer was seeking a better way to shrink the nightly payload of disaster recovery data from their primary site to their secondary site. After a thorough assessment, InfoSystems designed a solution which included Permabit’s SANblox and IBM’s Storwize V7000. Permabit’s purpose-built appliance reduced the amount of replicated data via a unique inline deduplication algorithm. The large number of physical x86 database servers complicated the situation slightly. However, the final implementation enabled them to meet the desired replication windows with plenty of room to grow, and well within a pre-defined budget.
Forging ahead, InfoSystems plans to even further enhance its data-storage and backup solution suite. The company is already selling solutions that address storage technologies that deliver using an operational expense model instead of a capital expense model. Led by its talented team, InfoSystems is poised to lead the market with high-end solutions that solve business problems by delivering managed and cloud based storage services.
